Inter-Cultural Youth Exchange is a unique user-led registered charity working in the field of personal, social and community development. We are an ethical volunteering organisation and ICYE volunteers support local communities worldwide and can make a real difference to peoples? lives. ICYE-UK also host volunteers in the UK because we believe strongly in the principles of a reciprocal exchange.
ICYE is an ethical volunteering organisation with over 50 years of experience in international volunteering. ICYE volunteers live and work in countries throughout Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe, helping to support local NGO?s and aid International development. As part of a federation, ICYE ensures excellent training and support. We also host international v olunteers in the UK and part of the money that our volunteers fundraise goes towards supporting international volunteers!.
Volunteers can select the project that they would like to be involved with. These range from HIV and AIDS awareness projects, to working with street children or in orphanages, to human rights or indigenous community groups as well as the environment and many more.
